Material

All our materials and fixing are to a specialised marine grade,

high quality specification.

We offer two types of material: Polyester based vinyl and acrylic backed canvas.

For longevity and value for money we would always recommend our heavy weight, polyester based vinyl material.

It has a life expectancy of approximately 10-15 years, due to its many properties:

Waterproof, tear resistant, A.U.V. Inhibitor (protects against damage caused by sunlight)

rot/mould proof, It does not shrink or stretch and is easy to maintain.

Using this material we are able to weld our windows onto your cover rather than sewing them in, giving a watertight seal, and for additional protection the seams on our covers are sealed by hand using a specialist sealing tape.

The material is pale grey backed, (excluding stone) keeping the interior space provided by your cover nice and light.

Acrylic backed canvas

Our canvas material is very pleasing to the eye. It is backed with an acrylic which makes the canvas thicker and more durable than some alternative thinner type canvas materials. As well as being water resistant it has a high U.V. protection which helps delay the ageing of the material. It has a life span of approximately 6-8 years. Windows are sewn into place and all seams are sealed with specialist sealing tape. Canvas material does require extra attention when it comes to maintenance.

Colours available: Black, Navy, Burgundy, Bottle Green, Racing Green.

All canvas material is backed with a pale grey acrylic keeping the interior of your boat nice and light.

Framework and fixings

Our framework is stainless steel, providing you with a robust, rust free, non-chip, bright polished frame.

Using only nickel plated brass fixings or stainless steel our fixings are rust free with a high resistance to corrosion and abrasion.
